IntroductionExpand/Collapse

Victoria Harbour is a  world-famous natural harbour recognised as an icon of Hong Kong. The Government  and the Harbourfront Commission have been committed to enhancing the  harbourfront of Victoria Harbour in the past 20 years, with a view to creating  an attractive, vibrant, accessible and sustainable harbourfront. Hongkong Post  releases a set of special stamps under the theme "Victoria Harbour Promenades",  which features the scenic waterfronts on both sides of the Harbour.  The stamps showcase the stunning harbour  views by day and night and highlight the achievements in enhancing the  promenades, thereby encouraging the public to appreciate and enjoy the quality  and diversified harbourfront spaces.

$2.20 Stamp – Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade
Situated along the Tsim  Sha Tsui waterfront, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade boasts spectacular views of Victoria  Harbour.  Since its opening in 2004, it  has been a popular attraction for both locals and tourists.  By enhancing facilities and extending green  areas, the public can enjoy a comfortable environment and appreciate the  unobstructed views of the harbour by the waterfront. The large iconic arbours  are the key features of the promenade, which not only provide shade but also  house various utilities. They also serve as a climbing structure for plants,  contributing to the greenery of the area.

$4 Stamp – Water Sports and Recreation Precinct, Wan Chai
Located on Hung Hing  Road in Wan Chai North, the Water Sports and Recreation Precinct is fully open  in December 2023, providing harbourfront space of about 1.7 hectares in total  and a waterfront promenade of 800 metres in length. A major feature of the  precinct is the "Harbour Steps" in Victoria Habour, which is the first to adopt  a fence-free stepped-down water edge design, allowing visitors to watch  competitions or performances from a close distance in the backdrop of Victoria  Harbour.  The precinct is well-equipped  with comprehensive facilities, making it an ideal venue for a wide range of  activities. The stamp illustrates the bustling live music shows held on a water  stage in the precinct in 2023.

$5.40 Stamp – The Revitalised Typhoon Shelter Precinct, Causeway Bay
Adjacent to the  Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter, the Revitalised Typhoon Shelter Precinct is  located between the Jardine Noonday Gun at Victoria Park Road and the Tung Lo  Wan Fire Station. Officially opened in 2022, the precinct covers an area of  about 1 hectare and features a fence-free stepped-down water edge design,  providing 90-metre-long "Harbour Steps" that enable visitors to enjoy  an unblocked view of the typhoon shelter and Victoria Harbour.

$5.50 Stamp —East Coast Park Precinct, North Point
The East Coast Park  Precinct located at the harbourfront in North Point on Hong Kong Island was  opened in phases since 2021. It occupies a total area of about 1.1 hectares,  with an approximately 425-metre-long promenade. The precinct adopts the design  concept of "Windows", which infuses window frames of different sizes into the  design of balustrades, outdoor installations and a low kerb, offering a  distinctive scene for visitors as if it is being viewed through a window.  Facilities like a lawn area, benches and shelters are provided for public use.  The stamp showcases the attractive nightscape of the East Coast Park and the  East Vent Shaft located at the end of the breakwater, which is designed to look  like a sail of a boat lighting up Victoria Harbour at night.

$10 Stamp Sheetlet - "耀·舞"
The Victoria  Harbourfront Photo and Short Video Competition was jointly organised by the  Harbourfront Commission and the Harbour Office of the Development Bureau in  2023.  The design of the stamp sheetlet  is based on the winning entry of the Student Group in the competition by YAU  Man-ching, which captures Victoria Harbour at sunset, with the sun casting  glowing beams between the skyscrapers, illuminating a boat on the water and  showcases the stunning sunset view of Victoria Harbour.

Official  First Day Covers will be put on sale at $2.5 each at all post offices from 8 May  2025. Advance orders for servicing self-provided covers will be accepted at all  philatelic offices from 8 to 14 May 2025.

Stamp  products include mint stamps, stamp sheets, stamp sheetlet, presentation pack, postage prepaid picture cards  and serviced first day cover. Serviced first day cover and postage  prepaid picture card also available at the philatelic offices only.
