1The 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China

It has been 100 years since the Communist Party of China (CPC) was founded in July 1921. 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the CPC since its founding. Hongkong Post issues a set of four stamps and a stamp sheetlet in commemoration of this momentous occasion. The 56 beams of the celebration logo signify the CPC’s endeavour of striving for advancement that shines all over our country. With the CPC flag in bright red flying, the beams radiate and extend across each of the stamps, presenting the founding and development of the new China led by the CPC, as well as its objectives to seek happiness for the Chinese people, rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, as well as universal brotherhood for the world. The “One Country, Two Systems” principle has been successfully implemented in Hong Kong under the leadership of the CPC and the Central People’s Government. Hong Kong, as a special administrative region, has been able to maintain its prosperity and stability, and integrate into the overall development of our country.

2Games of the XXXII Olympiad Tokyo 2020

The 32nd Olympic Games will be held from 23 July to 8 August 2021 in Tokyo, Japan. To mark this spectacular event, Hongkong Post will release an issue of four stamps under the theme “Games of the XXXII Olympiad Tokyo 2020” on its opening day, featuring sports in which the Hong Kong, China delegation won medals or was eligible to take part in the Olympics before, such as table tennis, windsurfing, cycling and swimming. Images in vivid colours outlined in gold foiling add dynamic appeal to the stamps, and act as a blessing for Hong Kong athletes to achieve their goals in the coming games.

3180th Anniversary of Hong Kong Postal Service

We will release a set of six stamps to commemorate this significant occasion. The stamp design showcases Hongkong Post’s development and evolution alongside the pace of the postal market, its effort to meet the changing expectations and needs of customers, and its contribution in creating a new era of smart postal services.

Feel 100% is an original Hong Kong comic and it acquired international fame for winning the Second International Manga Award by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan in 2008. It had been adapted into movies and television drama that were popular among the younger generation of the time. The story, set in Hong Kong, depicts an intricate metropolitan love story. Based on the protagonists of this story, Hongkong Post issues a set of six stamps and two stamp sheetlets that will sweep you up into the world of Feel 100%.

5World Heritage in China Series No. 10: South China Karst

First launched in 2012, “World Heritage in China Series” presents “South China Karst” on its tenth stamp sheetlet which is also the final issue of the series. Karst is a topography with varied forms. It is a unique and magnificent natural wonder created by water dripping through soluble rocks for hundreds of millions of years. Considered as one of the most spectacular humid tropical to subtropical karst landscapes in the world, South China karst spreads over the provinces of Guizhou, Guangxi, Yunnan and Chongqing, and was classified as World Natural Heritage in 2007 and 2014.

The Hong Kong, China Delegation made an impressive presence at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games held in 2021, achieving the best result ever by winning one gold, two silver and three bronze medals. To celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Hong Kong, China delegation in the Olympic Games, Hongkong Post issues a stamp sheetlet which contains a set of five stamps, showcasing the events medallists won at: fencing, swimming, table tennis, karate and cycling track. Each event evolves from one into another with an intricate design of the overlapping images simulating the high-spirited rivalry between athletes. It also features Hong Kong’s Olympic medallists in action during their competitions and the moments of joy in receiving the medals. The community was proud of their outstanding achievements.

Among them, about 2100 are native species and some of which are named after Hong Kong. To celebrate this remarkable accomplishment of the Hong Kong, China Delegation in the Paralympic Games, Hongkong Post issues a stamp sheetlet entitled “Congratulations on the Outstanding Achievements of the Hong Kong, China Delegation at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games”. The stamp sheetlet contains a set of three stamps, showcasing the three medal-winning events, namely badminton, boccia and table tennis. The commendable performance of the Hong Kong athletes fully demonstrated their strong will and exceptional talent.
