3Gold and Silver Stamp Sheetlet on Lunar New Year Animals – A Complete Collectible Set

Hongkong Post started issuing the Gold and Silver Stamp Sheetlet on Lunar New Year Animals series in 2013, beginning with Dragon/Snake in 2013 and ending with Rabbit/Dragon in 2024, with a total of twelve sets to complete a full cycle. The “Gold and Silver Stamp Sheetlet on Lunar New Year Animals – A Complete Collectible Set” draws the series to a perfect close. A set of two stamp sheetlets features the Lunar New Year Animals against the gold and silver backgrounds respectively, which glisten brightly and emanate luxury while expressing the wish for a prosperous, auspicious and peaceful year.

4Anti-corruption in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is renowned for being a “clean city”. It is attributed to the concerted efforts of the community and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) in fostering a probity culture. Since its inception in 1974, the ICAC has been committed to fighting corruption through a three-pronged approach of law enforcement, education and prevention. Working hand in hand with the people in the city, the ICAC is determined to keep Hong Kong clean, prosperous and stable while actively participating in international anti-corruption collaborations at the same time. 5Hong Kong Museums Collection – Selected Tea Ware from China and the World

In order to meet different market needs around the world, many innovative pieces of export tea ware embracing Chinese and Western styles and characteristics have emerged since the Ming Dynasty. 6Intangible Cultural Heritage – Cheung Chau Jiao Festival

Cheung Chau Jiao Festival was inscribed onto the “First Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage for Hong Kong”. Held from the fifth to the ninth days of the fourth Lunar month every year, the activity has been practiced for more than 100 years. It showcases a great variety of traditional customs, folk crafts and folk performing arts of Cheung Chau. Hongkong Post launches a special stamp issue on “Cheung Chau Jiao Festival” to promote this intangible cultural heritage of Hong Kong, in the hope that this traditional festival and the folk crafts can pass down the generations.

They also carry various kinds of academic and aesthetic value. At present, there are a total of 132 declared monuments in the territory, which are invaluable and need proper preservation. Hongkong Post issues a set of six special stamps on the theme of “Declared Monuments in Hong Kong II” with a view to fostering the public’s understanding and appreciation of historic buildings in Hong Kong.
